He made sure that none of the stones were going to fall out easily and he welcomed us to come back in several months to get it rechecked. Saved endless hours looking things up. He is a genuine guy as well for telling me he wouldnt take one piece that was worth more and told me how to go about selling it.

They are very friendly and very helpful. I brought in old scrap rings from my Mom and he gave me a fair price for them. He cleaned up a ring of mine and adjusted it so that it would fit better. I will definitely be going back to them for all my jewelry needs.

I don't know much about jewelry, and needed to find a place to resize my engagement ring. I was kind of nervous about it because I didn't know what it would cost, if it would be the same material and quality, or how long it would take... Jack is the business owner and he made me feel completely confident in his abilities. He is fully equipped on site, offered to have my ring finished the same day, and when I said I was nervous about a smaller stone being damaged or falling out he explained to me the process and that he would tighten the settings after cleaning them. The ring looks incredibly brilliant now! I thought it was clean before, but now it is much more reflective! The band is seamless where he resized it of course and this was an amazing experience. He's a very honest and reputable jeweler!

Needed a new battery for my fossil watch. I didn't want to go to fossil; last time i went to fossil to get the battery replaced, the worker squished the gasket and i didn't notice until a day or two later that the gasket was sticking out. I ended up having to go back to the store to get it fixed (remember this).

I've seen this store in the plaza while getting subway and decided to check it out. I came in on a sat afternoon and Jack was there to help me. He literally changed the battery in a minute. He showed me that there was some sort of grease on the watch back and wasn't sure why it was in there and told me that he'd clean it out (it was nice of him to be up front with me). He replaced the battery and handed me the watch.

At that point i remembered the gasket experience from the fossil store and asked if the gasket was ok. He told me he didn't see one when he had the watch open. I said..."oh... really?" He said he was pretty sure. Then he brought his tools from the back of the store to the front so that he could open it and show me. We took a second look and low and behold there wasn't one. Im assuming the worker at the fossil store messed the gasket up last time and decided to just take it out and tell me it was fixed (they worked on the watch in the back).

Well i asked if he had gaskets here and he put one in for me for no extra charge. Had a good experience at vip jewelers, I'd come back here.

I went there to get the battery replaced in my watch - which was done in about a minute, maybe two - and at a very reasonable charge. While I was there, I fell in love with a piece of jewelry and bought it. It is very nice and was very reasonably priced. I'll be coming back!

Came in with four watches (with replacement batteries) that I couldn't get backs off. Two of which were diving watches requiring a special tool. Jack helped me get backs off three. I replaced my own batteries. One watch he couldn't get the back off and referred me to another shop down the street with more experience with watches. Surprisingly he didn't charged me even though I insisted. Finally just gave him $5 for his trouble. Very friendly.

Jack was great!! He had me in and out in less than 10 mins. He sized one of my watches, he sized another one (and didnt charge me for it because he said he only had to take out one link), and my other watch that needed more detailed attention, he said he would have the other watch repair guy look at it and then give me a call to see how much it would be before he went through with the repairs. Jack is the best! I found him on Yelp but didn't see he was going to open at 11am and I showed up at 10. Disappointed and about to turn away from the shop, Jack's face pops up in the window and he opens the shop for me Such a royal treatment! He resized my husband's watch in no tone and actually was honest about not being able to change the battery in my special watch and sent me to another jeweler instead of trying to fix it. I cannot say enough how much I appreciate this jeweler! My bf proposed to me Thursday night in our home town, turns out he had no idea what size ring I wore as it could only fit my pinky. We had an early flight in the morning to Burbank, so we decided to bring it with us and see what we could find in the area. Our first, and only, phone call was to Burbank VIP Jewelers. Jack, assuming this is who we spoke to, told us to come in and he would take a look. They were located only minutes from the airport and allowed us to come in before they were even open! Jack examined the ring, took my ring size, and advised us that he would have to go up a little over 2 sizes. He explained what was involved with re-sizing, such as cutting the band and adding more gold and even showed us the back room where he would do all of the work. Realizing that we had just flown in and were short on time and we got the ring back to us in less than an hour! I was beyond excited to finally wear my new engagement ring for the first time! I had a repair done a Media City Jewelers and I was happy to know that they have a jeweler on site who could do my repairs. They also did my repairs while I waited. They have unique jewelry to look at. I was surprised to learn that a lot of there jewelry is custom designed.

Came to get the links in my watch taken out. I was happy with this place. Straight forward and I even got my ring cleaned while I waited. Will go back here for watch needs (battery, adjustment etc.) It only took me 10 years to find something local in Burbank!

I walked in this place hoping to sell an old chain that I had laying around my drawer for years.
I was kind of not sure at first if I would get top Dollar for my gold, but after talking to the men behind the counter while he was doing a test to determine the gold content of the chain I had, I started feeling better about this transaction.
I know I got a great deal on this transaction beacuse I sold the gold to get a high end road bike and that is exactly what I got ,and more.
I had this chain that I never used, now I have a new toy that I am using almost everyday .

I came in here with my wedding ring that needed to be resized (made larger). The jeweler helped me find the right size and seemed to have a very good sense of just how the ring should fit. He pointed out that the ring was 18K and asked if I wanted the resizing portion to be 18K as well. It was $50 as opposed to $40 so I said yes.

I felt a little nervous leaving a valuable ring in a jewelry store I didn't really know, but decided to make the leap of faith. He called when the ring was ready and it was on the date promised (two days later). I picked up the ring and it fits PERFECTLY. You can't see that anything was done to the band. Literally, the cutting and resoldering is invisible. And they cleaned the (very) dirty ring. It looks gorgeous and I am one happy customer.

I Love this place, I would say one of the onest and friendly jewelers in town. First time when I came here I had my diamond loose and I was worried , it took only a few minutes for him to tighten and very profetional, and after that i Keep coming back and every single time I get even more beter services, I had and old chain that I wasnt using it and I get fair price for it.

I brought three watches to get batteries replaced. 2 of them replaced the third one I found was rusted from the inside. It took total 10 minutes for the guy to replace all of them. He even let me keep the battery for the rusted watch. Which is useless but still that's cool. They were $10 each but he didn't charge for the third one.

After locating this place, I occasionally go this place to repair my broken jewelry or change the battery of my watches. Every time I enter this place I see professionalism. They are not only nice, but always do a great job, You can hardly tell how the jewelry was repaired, and you get your jewelry back like brand new. They do polish or clean the jewelry very well. I never sold gold to them but they do offer fair price. I would definitely go back and recommend everyone to try them out before stopping anywhere else.

Found this place on Yelp and it was down the street from my job. Walked in and got helped immediately. I had three watches that needed attention, two that needed batteries replaced and one watch that needed to be sized. The gentleman Jack measured my wrist to ensure the watch fit just right. Very inexpressive and fast service! Battery replacement and sizing was $22 and was in and out in about 20 minutes.

Will be coming back for sure and would recommend!
